United by the music of Doc Boggs, Ola Belle Reed, Gillian Welch, The Horseflies and Elizabeth LaPrelle. the intertwining of fiddle and banjo, haunting vocal harmonies, and lyrics that are both timeless and true, make this band mesmerising and energising in equal parts, like moonshine and mountain dew.
They feature Jane McCracken on vocals and guitar, Kate Connor on fiddle and harmonies (Devil Goat Family String Band, Andy Baylor), Gus Macmillan on banjo (Blue Grassy Knoll and Devil Goat Family String Band) and Keith Urquhart on Double Bass.
