Veraison Continues - Warmer Days
The grapes are ripening quite quickly as we finally get some warmer weather. We got another 20mm of rain midweek, but nothing to bother the vines or the steady ripening of the grapes. The forecast is for a run of warm weather, with a couple of days in the high 30s.
Whole bunches nearly all purple. I even tasted one Berry- sharply acidic but edible. We'll keep watching and start testing in the next couple of weeks. But if you are planning to buy grapes for a brew at home or wanting to join our RentaRow crowd, now is the time to move. Happy days.
