We did our first tests on the grapes on Friday 31st Jan. We tested across 6 areas of the vineyard as there can be some variation depending on soil and row orientation. Most of the rows are running 9.2-9.6 Be ((16.5 - 17.4 Brix). There was one test which was considerably higher than the rest (12 Be'). We will re-test that this week to see if it was an anomaly. Overall it looks like we are on-track for a start to general picking for the weekend of 1st March. But for those who are wanting their grapes at 13 Be' it is more likely to be a week earlier.
I will start to schedule first deliveries for the first week of March. For those collecting their grapes from the vineyard or picking their own, let me know via email or text when you want to get your grapes.
