Known nationwide as the legendary "Banner Man" behind the iconic AFL Western Bulldogs banner jokes, Danny McGinlay brings his masterclass in Aussie observational humor and quick-witted crowd work to the showcase. With years of headlining clubs, festivals, and TV appearances (Fisk, The Front Bar) Danny’s warm, charismatic stage presence guarantees big laughs from start to finish.
An award-winning comedian and RAW Comedy winner, Matt Stewart is well known as a co-host of the hit AACTA-nominated comedy podcast Do Go On. A multi-talented comedian, writer, actor, and co-founder of Stupid Old Studios, Matt’s clever, dry delivery and sharp storytelling—fresh off his acclaim for solo specials like Best Man—make him a fan-favourite on any stage.
One of Australian comedy’s brightest rising stars, Urvi Majumdar is a multi-talented comedian, writer, and actor. You’ve likely spotted her on popular TV shows like ABC’s Fisk, Channel 10’s The Cheap Seats, and Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont-Spelling Bee, or caught her Melbourne International Comedy Festival Moosehead Award-winning stand-up. Urvi’s energetic, relatable, and whip-smart comedy makes her an absolute must-see.
Bursting with charm, musical comedy skill, and clever observations, Rowan Thambar has quickly established himself as a powerhouse on the local comedy circuit. Winner of the RAW Comedy State Finals and a regular across Australia’s top comedy clubs, Rowan's high-energy performances bring a fresh, dynamic vibe to the night.
Self-proclaimed as "Warrnambool's third most famous comedian" (right behind Dave Hughes and Tom Ballard), RAW Comedy national finalist Michael Williams is a true cult favourite. Armed with his signature easel, drawings, and visual antics (check out his hilarity at @meandmyeasel), Michael delivers a wonderfully inventive, delightfully absurd blend of stand-up and illustration.
Brought to you in collaboration with the team behind the Bendigo Comedy Festival, this showcase brings the best festival atmosphere and talent right to your doorstep. On the evening, the star-studded libne-up will also be joined by local Bendigo comedian, Patti Fawcett.
