After a very dry January and early February, I thought we we on track for a start to picking this weekend 28th Feb. But the skies have opened: we had 38mm last Sunday, which was a bit more than forecast, and another 9mm yesterday (Tuesday). So things have slowed down.

The Baume' on all tested blocks of fruit have moved, but not enough for us to pick this weekend. While there is still a bit of rain forecast for the weekend, I don't expect it to amount to much and we expect to start picking on Friday 6th of March.
